I write about the lines
we hold — and the ones
that unravel.

Two kinds of books that look nothing alike: honest writing on faith and fatherhood, and dark fiction where the lines finally give. Everything I've made lives right here.

About

The hand behind both shelves.

Andrew Buckelew

I spent twenty years on the practical side of things — production floors, dispatch boards, and routes that ran a hundred miles across southern Missouri. Writing was what I did in the margins, until it wasn't.

Now I write two kinds of books that come from the same place: honest, unpolished work on faith and fatherhood under Manual Not Included, and dark fiction about the systems we build to hold chaos back — and what happens when they start to give.

I host two podcasts, I'm raising a family in Poplar Bluff, and I've come to believe the most interesting stories start where the manual runs out.
